Rubber Adhesive RE(Also called )
Rubber Adhesive RE(Also called No.6 Resin)Property: This product is one kind of amber solid. It easily dissolved in water and has strong moisture absorption ability. If it mixed with methanal donator, this product can achieve better adhesive effect and improve rubber performance and rigidity extension. Also it is helpful to adhesive after aging. Application InstructionAdhesive RE leads to the adhesion action via reacting with the methylene donor, such as adhesive A, adhesive RA etc. This reaction will quickly start at the vulcanization temperature. If the reaction occurs before vulcanization, the adhesion action of matching system will disappear. When the temperature is below 90 degree, adhesive RE will be mixed with the methylene receptor in a dispersed condition. Therefore, reasonable caution will be exercised in used of it. In a word, it will be evenly dispersed in the system. Generally, rubber, filler and adhesive RE are added and mixed at first at a higher temperature; then adhesive A, or other methylene donor, sulphur and accelerator are added simultaneously at final mixing stage.2-5 phr of adhesive RE is suggested to be operated with 2.5 phr of adhesive A or other methylene donor. It should be noted that adhesive RE doesn´t work without methylene donor.
